Earlier this month, the Slovakia accommodation portal Slovakia Travel Guide was relaunched, as part of the on-going re-development of the Heart of Europe suite of websites. The new-look portal has been designed to be even more user-friendly and to fit seamlessly with the Slovakia – Heart of Europe.
The web site allows visitors to search for a hotel in Slovakia in a number of different ways. You can list the accommodation by type (e.g. just hotels or just cottages), by region (e.g. Bratislava accomodation), or else you can choose the region you are interested in through a clickable slovak map.
Informative presentations, with short and large descriptions, double room price (e.g. you can target a cheap bratislava hotel), amenity icons and up to 12 photos, will then help you choose the Slovak hotel, pension or self-catering facility that is right for your Slovak holiday or business trip. Many of the top spas, thermal baths, aqua parks, ski centres, sporting activities and tourist attractions in Slovakia are also featured.
You are able to make an advanced search of the database, whereby you are able to search the accommodation by certain criteria, such as by region, by type, by price, by your preferred dates and/or by amenities (e.g. nearby a thermal bath).
There are also some really useful resources throughout the site to help you find flights to slovakia, airport parking, airport transfers, a rental car, slovakia cheap flights and much, much more!
