The morning of Day Four of our holiday was spent in the ski resort of Donovaly. It was May 1st, a bank holiday in Slovakia, and the start of Donovaly’s summer season. Obviously, the main season here is during the winter, but in recent years Park Snow Donovaly has put together a superb collection of adrenalin attractions, which they collectively call the Fun Arena.
Set amongst wonderful scenery, the Fun Arena boasts the following attractions: an 8 – bed trampoline, Bungee trampoline, Rope centre, Climbing wall and Toboggan run.
The kids had a great time on the trampolines, which are well priced at 1 Euro, but it was the toboggan run that was our favourite of all and at only 3 Euro a go, this is a must when you visit Donovaly in the Spring or Summer.
We only spent the morning at Donovaly, as we were off to spend the afternoon in Dolny Kubin, but there is easily enough to occupy you for the whole day here and we literally had to drag the kids away.
For more information about Donovaly, visit the main Heart of Europe website.
