There is an extremely interesting and moving exhibition that is currently on in Wenceslas Square, just in front of the statue of Saint Wenceslas, which has been organised by the People In Need Foundation. Entitled Stories of Injustice – The Road to Freedom, it documents those brave souls of the last century who made a stand, during the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia.
The free exhibition tells the story of some of those heroes that were either sentenced to death or to long, harsh prison sentences, because they dared to rise up against a totalitarian dictatorship. It is an exhibition that we should all take the time to visit, during a stay in Prague.
