One of the museums I visited during my stay in Prague was the Museum of Chocolate, just off the Old Town Square. The tour started with a little cup of hot chocolate, before a brief look around a room with various “exhibits” including some wrappers you could find in Tescos. Far more interesting was the other exhibition, on the other side of the corridor, which displayed chocolate paintings.
Having looked at the art on display, you were able to try your hand at some chocolate painting yourself. I soon discovered that chocolate isn’t the easiest of materials to work with, but nonetheless I persevered and this was the result:
It certainly made me appreciate the skill involved! The tour ended with some chocolate tasting (yummy) and I even received a little gift – a cocoa bean, which is supposedly very good for you. Overall, I think the museum is worth visiting if you have children with you, but at 150 CZK a head, it is a little on the pricey side!
